Refund Policy
Refund rules for AppUo consultations, digital products, software services, retainers, subscriptions, and duplicate or failed online payments.

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to payments made to AppUo NextGen Technologies Private Limited through https://appuo.in, invoices, payment links, UPI, bank transfer, cards, net banking, or other approved payment methods.
Because AppUo primarily provides digital services, software work, consulting, automation, AI implementation, and custom deliverables, refund eligibility depends on the type of payment and work status.
2. Consultation and Discovery Payments
- A paid consultation may be refunded if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- No refund is available for missed consultations, late cancellations, or completed consultations.
- If AppUo cancels a paid consultation and no suitable reschedule is available, the consultation fee will be refunded.
3. Project Advance, Milestone, and Custom Development Fees
Project advances, booking amounts, retainers, and milestone payments are used to reserve team capacity, perform discovery, plan architecture, write code, design interfaces, configure infrastructure, and produce digital work.
- Amounts paid for completed work, approved milestones, discovery, architecture, planning, third-party tools, hosting, domains, subscriptions, or non-cancellable costs are non-refundable.
- If a project is cancelled before work starts, a refund may be considered after deducting payment gateway charges, administrative costs, third-party costs, and any work already performed.
- If a project is cancelled after work starts, refund eligibility will be calculated based on unperformed scope only, if any, and according to the applicable proposal or statement of work.
4. Digital Products, Templates, and Downloadable Assets
Payments for downloadable products, templates, digital assets, code packages, documents, AI outputs, or immediately accessible digital content are generally non-refundable once access, download, generation, or delivery has occurred.
5. Subscriptions, Retainers, and Maintenance
- Subscription or retainer fees already charged for an active billing period are non-refundable unless the applicable agreement states otherwise.
- You may request cancellation for future billing periods according to the subscription or retainer terms.
- Unused hours, credits, or support capacity may expire at the end of the billing period unless a written agreement states otherwise.
6. Duplicate, Failed, or Accidental Payments
If a payment is debited twice, incorrectly charged, or marked failed but later received by us, we will verify the transaction and refund the duplicate or excess amount where applicable.
Approved refunds for duplicate or failed payments are usually initiated within 7 to 10 business days after verification. The time taken for the amount to appear in your account depends on the bank, card network, UPI provider, or payment gateway.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method used for the transaction. If that is not possible, we may request additional verified bank or business details to process the refund.
8. Non-Refundable Items
- Completed services, approved deliverables, deployed work, accepted milestones, and delivered digital assets.
- Third-party software, plugins, licenses, hosting, domains, APIs, subscriptions, or infrastructure costs purchased for the client.
- Payment gateway charges, bank charges, taxes, administrative fees, and non-cancellable vendor commitments where applicable.
- Custom work where the client delays feedback, withholds access, changes requirements, or stops responding after work has started.
9. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email contact@appuo.in with your name, payment date, amount, payment reference or invoice number, reason for the request, and any supporting screenshots or bank statements.
We may ask for additional information to verify the transaction and evaluate the request.
